OUR BELIEFS

We are a member of the Bible Fellowship Church -
"An expanding fellowship of Churches united to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

About The Bible

We believe the Bible, comprised of 66 books (Old and New Testament) is God's word to all mankind. We believe it is the infallible word of God, divinely revealed, inspired by the Holy Spirit, inerrant in all it teaches. The scriptures are the final authority for faith and conduct.

God

We believe there is one true God, eternally existing in three person: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are eternally equal in power and glory.

Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ is co-equal with the Father and the Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught perfectly the will of God. He was crucified and died for our sins. He was buried and arose bodily from the grave on the 3rd day. His sacrifice satisfied the justice of the Father and proved God's love for us. He now sits at the right hand of God, having all authority over all. Jesus has all authority over everything in heaven and on Earth.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal in power and glory with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit indwells all true believers at salvation, gives spiritual gifts, illuminates the truth found in scripture, and empowers believers to live a faith filled life to the glory of God.

Salvation

Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness of sin and restoration of relationship with God. Salvation is the work of God. He calls sinners to Himself because of His kindness and through faith in the work of His Son, Jesus Christ. Salvation is offered to all through The Gospel - the good news that the Son of God has come to Earth, lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose on the 3rd day reconciling us back to God. All who believe and repent of their sins will be brought back into a loving relationship with God and given eternal life.

The Church

The church is the body of Jesus Christ; it is not a building but a people. The church gathers together for worship, to encourage and build up other believers, to share our faith, experience God's blessing, hear God's word, pray, be corrected and loved, do good works together, and participate in the ordinances: Baptism and Communion. God uses the church to grow His people into the image of Christ and to bless the world.
